Education & Career Path:
I hold a BA in English Education (2004), an MA in Secondary Education (2005), and an MFA in Creative Writing (2011) from Adelphi University. Prior to joining the Tisch Center in August 2015, I was the Academic Administrator in NYU Liberal Studies, recruited performing and visual arts students at LIU Brooklyn, and taught at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I am excited to start doctoral study at NYU Steinhardt and hope to earn my Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration by 2020.
Role in Tisch Center:
In addition to advising students, I oversee our scholarship programs, perform graduation audits, act as Volunteer Manager at the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, and assist with our short-term summer Study Away programs.
I am an advanced knitter/novice crocheter and a member of NYU's Naughty Knitters, I have formal training on woodwind instruments, except for the flute, and I read about 60+ books a year. Additionally, I am the co-chair of the AMC Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Committee.
